Next: understand your migration history.

Firestruct 1.2 is the current Mac App Store release. Version 1.3 is planned; the features below are not available in the current release.

Read-only Migrations Inspector · Planned for 1.3

Understand your Fireway migration history before running anything. Browse local files and compare them with migration records in a Firebase emulator.

  • Browse ordered migration files, source previews, checksums, and modified dates.
  • Compare local files with emulator records to inspect applied, pending, missing, and changed migrations.
  • Review Table, JSON, and Logs with the selected project and environment visible.

Read before you run

The planned inspector does not execute migration scripts or write migration records. Production record browsing is deferred until its authentication flow is verified.

Loading local files will not require Firebase credentials. Files loaded without a record comparison will be labeled as unverified, rather than assumed to be pending.

Release approach

The first release will focus on local file inspection and emulator record comparison. Source previews will disclose truncation, and inspection tasks will show progress and actionable errors.

Migration execution, record writes, and production record browsing are outside this release scope. The roadmap describes intended work, not a release date or a promise that every feature will ship.

Local Index Advisor compares Simple queries with loaded index definitions without changing Firebase data. Firestore, Authentication, Storage, and Tasks remain part of the released workspace.
